Freshman Amanda Kemezys poured in a career-high 22 points, while fellow freshman Maggie Hennegan notched a double-double with 14 points and a career-best 17 rebounds to lead the Saint Louis Billikens past Fordham 90-70 in Atlantic 10 action on Sunday afternoon. For the first time in program history the Billikens scored at least 90 points in back-to-back games. SLU scored 92 points in the victory over St. Bonaventure on Thursday.

The Billikens led 18-15 but scored eight straight points to build a double-digit lead. Amy Klotz converted a layup, and Theresa Lisch's drive handed the Billikens a 26-15 lead with 9:03 left in the first half. Fordham cut the gap to 28-23 with a quick 8-2 burst, but two Lisch free throws ended the Rams' run. The Billikens were up six at 30-24 but went on a 9-0 run. Kemezys sank two charity tosses, and Hayley Leake hit one of two from the line. Kemezys scored two consecutive baskets before Hennegan nailed two more from the free throw line for a 39-24 lead with 1:37 left in the half. The Billikens settled for a 41-29 lead at intermission.
The Rams slowly cut into the lead in the second half and got to 49-38 at the 14:11 mark before Tyler McIlwraith took over during a 9-2 SLU run. After two free throws by Klotz, McIlwraith tallied seven straight points for the Billikens. The senior scored on a layup and on the Billikens' next possession, was fouled and converted both from the line. McIlwraith then scored inside and hit the free throw to complete the three-point play and a 58-40 lead with 12:40 left.
Fordham edged back to 66-53 but the Billikens sealed the victory with seven straight points. Kemezys scored off a feed from McIlwraith, and Hennegan added a three-point play. Kemezys ended the run with another layup as the Billikens surged ahead to a 73-53 lead with six minutes left to play.
Amanda Kemezys hit 9-of-13 shots from the field en route to her career best of 22 points, and she also added six rebounds, all coming on the offensive end to lead the Billikens. Maggie Hennegan tallied 14 points and hauled down 17 rebounds, the most by a Billiken since Tyler McIlwraith narrowly missed out on a double-double with 19 points and a career-high nine assists. Theresa Lisch's added 14 points and hit all eight of her free throw attempts. For Fordham, Lisa Carrol scored a team-high 20 points, while Annie Zopf reached career highs with 17 points and seven assists. The Billikens controlled the glass by a 48-22 margin which led to SLU's 23-4 advantage on second-chance points.
The Billikens win their second-straight A-10 game and move to 11-13 overall, 3-7 in the A-10. The Rams fall to 3-22 on the season, 1-10 in the league.
