ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis freshman midfielder Saadiq Mohammed has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer co-Rookie of the Week, the league office announced today.

Mohammed tallied his first career goal Saturday night in a 1-0 Billikens victory at Dayton. In the 22nd minute, he collected the ball 25 yards out and fired into the upper-left corner of the goal for the game-winner.

Saint Louis (3-4-3, 2-0 A-10), which is one of two teams unbeaten and untied in A-10 play, has started the conference season with a 2-0 record for the first time since 2009.

The Billikens continue A-10 play this week with a pair of games at Hermann Stadium. Rhode Island visits Wednesday at 7 p.m., while George Mason is the opponent Saturday in a 7 p.m. kickoff.
