GAME NOTES: Saint Louis | Fordham
The Saint Louis Billikens (6-16, 2-5 A-10) play the first of two consecutive home games when they host the Fordham Rams (14-7, 6-2 A-10) Saturday, Jan. 28.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT on ESPN+ with Colin Suhre on the call. KMOX (1120 AM, 98.7 FM) also will carry the game, with Tom Ackerman handling the play-by-play. The KMOX broadcast also is available on SLUBillikens.com.

The series is tied 11-11, with SLU holding a 7-4 edge in St. Louis. The teams did not meet last season. Fordham won the most recent meeting, 72-63, at Chaifetz Arena Jan. 17, 2021.

The Billikens shot 50.8 percent from the field, their best mark in an Atlantic 10 game this season, in a 75-71 loss at Davidson Jan. 25. The Rams have won two straight and three of their last four, most recently a 68-59 victory over Richmond Jan. 25 that saw them rally from a 12-point deficit.

KEY STORYLINES
•Brooke Flowers is one of 15 players named to the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Watch List for NCAA Division I women's basketball. Flowers enjoyed a big game on the offensive end at Davidson, scoring a career-high 24 points.
•Kyla McMakin reached two career milestones in the Davidson game. She became the 10th active player in NCAA Division I women's basketball to reach 2,000 points (2,003), and she surpassed 500 rebounds.
•Julia Martinez had two steals at Davidson to lift her season total to 72, the school record for a senior and second on SLU's overall single-season list. The school record is 87 set by Theza Fitzpatrick in 1983-84. Martinez tallied 19 points at Davidson, just one off her career high.
•Led by Flowers' NCAA-best 3.8 average, SLU leads the A-10 and is 14th nationally in blocks per game (5.2). The Bills also top the league in offensive rebounds per game (14.2) and steals per game (9.6).
•SLU's 77.1-percent mark from the foul line is third in the A-10 and 30th in the nation. The Bills are shooting 81.3 percent (109-of-134) from the stripe over the last eight games.
•SLU has averaged 17.4 offensive boards over the last eight games.
