HAMPTON, Va. –
Brae Sanchez finished fifth in the men's 100 breast to lead Saint Louis on day three of the Atlantic 10 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at Hampton Aquaplex.
Sanchez registered a time of 54.36. He also swam on the Billikens' 400 medley relay team that placed eighth (3:19.15), joining
Alex Daw,
Adrian Paseta and
Logan Townsend.
Also scoring for the SLU men were
Ben Mears, 13th in 3-meter diving (256.00, up from 236.95 in the prelims);
Phillip Endom, 15th in the 400 IM (4:03.52);
Jacob Wasserman, 15th in 3-meter diving (231.05, up from 201.85 in the prelims); Daw, 16th in the 100 back (50.03); and
Colton Mosley, 16th in the 100 breast (56.24).
For the Billiken women,
Kenna Cashman placed 15th in the 100 breast (1:05.14). She teamed with
Meghan Eng,
Mia Yeo and
Emily Leonard to finish 11th in the 400 medley relay (3:47.75).
The A-10 Championships concludes Saturday.
