Women's Tennis Enjoys Break Ahead of Season Finale in Peoria

St. Louis, Mo. - The Saint Louis University women's tennis (8-11, 0-3 Conference USA) final regular season match will pit the Billikens against Bradley's Braves on Apr. 14 in Peoria, Ill., at 5 p.m. The C-USA tournament, hosted by TCU, will be held in Fort Worth, Texas from Apr. 21-24.

RECAP: Last week the Bills claimed a 4-3 decision over Detroit (9-8) to conclude their regular season home schedule.

ABOUT BRADLEY: Head coach Scott Petersen is in his first year with the Braves directing seniors Kelley Wood and Nicole Kirley. The Braves dropped their matches against Idaho State, Southern Utah, UW-Green Bay and Colorado State in Las Vegas last week.

THE BILLIKEN COACHING STAFF: Along side fourth-year head coach Shervin Saedinia and Chad Andrews. Prior to her 2003 Billiken coaching appointment, Saedinia played tennis at Syracuse University where she was a four-time MVP. Andrews joined the staff in August 2004 after completing his tennis career as a Billiken.
