Daytona Beach, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman put a halt to Saint Louis' nine-match winning streak with a 6-1 victory in women's tennis action in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Saturday. The Billikens' nine victories in a row was the longest winning streak since the 1997 squad won 11 straight.
Rachel McCullagh claimed the only point for the Bills after a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles. McCullagh then teamed with Caitlin Bokulic for an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles.
SLU returns to action on Wed., Mar. 22, for a 1 p.m. match with Illinois State in Normal, Ill.
