CHARLOTTE, N.C. - No. 2 seed La Salle scored two second-half goals to post a 2-0 victory over fifth-seeded Saint Louis Friday. The loss knocked the Billikens (9-7-3) out of the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Soccer Championship.

The two teams played to a scoreless first half, combining for just three total shots in 45 minutes of action.

La Salle opened up the scoring in the 59th minute, as sophomore forward Glenroy Chapman scored an unassisted goal past SLU keeper Mark Pais.

Just four minutes later, on a 3-on-1 break, La Salle's Jidell Roach crossed the ball from the right side to a waiting Chapman, who steadily shot the ball past Pais for his second goal of the match and his third of the season.
