No. 2 Tulsa Downs Billikens

TULSA, Okla. - No. 2 Tulsa scored two goals in each half and defeated Saint Louis 4-1 Friday night in non-conference men's soccer action at Hurricane Stadium.

The Billikens, who move to 1-2-1 on the year, host Drake next Saturday night at Robert R. Hermann Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. kick on Homecoming. Tulsa moves to 5-0-0 with the victory.

Matt Boult and Chris Taylor each tallied in the first half to give Tulsa a 2-0 advantage at the break. In the second half, Tulsa's Austin Neal and Ashley McInnes scored to make it a 4-0 game.

SLU freshman Adnan Gabeljic got the Billikens on the board with a goal at 83:11. He collected a feed from sophomore Michael Robson and beat the Tulsa keeper one-on-one. It was Gabeljic's second goal of the year and Robson's second assist.

Sophomore keeper Mark Pais made his first start of the season in goal and made eight saves.
