The Basics
Despite two goals by junior Joe Saad, Saint Louis dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to Dayton Wednesday in Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer action at Hermann Stadium.
The Billikens fall to 4-4-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the A-10, while Dayton improves to 7-4-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the league.
Both teams took advantage of defensive miscues early on to make the score 1-1 10 minutes into the contest. In the 14th minute, Saad scored his second goal of the night off a pretty pass by Filip Pavisic to make the score 2-1 Billikens.
That remained the score until the 52nd minute when Dayton scored the equalizer. UD's Carlos Sendin buried the game winner in the 93rd minute.
