RECAP
Saint Louis scored early and often in a 6-2 victory at Marquette on Tuesday in nonconference men's soccer action at Valley Fields in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Billikens improve to 5-3 with the victory, while Marquette falls to 4-4-1.

The six goals are the most by the Billikens since 2007. Additionally, the six tallies are the most by SLU in a road game since 1995.

Marquette jumped out to an early lead in the seventh minute, only to see the Billikens answer right back 30 seconds later when Devin Boyce equalized.

Later in the first half, Boyce scored again to put the Billikens on top. Leo Novaes sent SLU into the locker room up 3-1 when he converted a PK in the 27th minute.

It was pretty much all Billikens in the second half. Jacob Goyen and David Viox each scored a goal to make it 5-1. After Marquette trimmed its deficit with a goal in the 76th minute to make it 5-2 SLU, Simon Becher responded by burying the Billikens' second PK of the night for the 6-2 final.

SLU keeper Patrick Schulte made a career-high seven saves in the win.

The Billikens continue Atlantic 10 Conference play this weekend when they travel to UMass to face the Minutemen in a noon (CT) first whistle.
