RECAP
Saint Louis extended its winning streak to six games on Tuesday night with a 1-0 victory over Denver in nonconference men's soccer action at Hermann Stadium.
The Billikens improve to 9-3 overall, while Denver dips to 2-8-2.
Sophomore midfielder John Klein scored the decisive goal in the 58th minute. He collected a loose ball and struck it from 25 yards past the Denver keeper for the game-winning tally. It was his second goal of the season.
Freshman goalkeeper Patrick Schulte came up big once again with three saves. Saint Louis has not allowed a goal in four straight games.
The Billikens resume Atlantic 10 Conference play on Saturday night when they host Dayton at 7 p.m. SLU is in first place in the A-10 with a 5-0 record.
