RECAP
Saint Louis dropped a 3-2 decision at Memphis on Tuesday night in nonconference men's soccer action at the Murphy Track and Soccer Complex.

The Billikens dip to 3-3 overall, while Memphis improves to 5-2.

Saint Louis twice scored the equalizer, but were never able to grab a lead. Memphis' Sam Ashton scored twice for the Tigers, including the game-winner in the 68th minute that broke a 2-2 tie.

Memphis opened the scoring in the 12th minute, only to see SLU's Matteo Kidd tie it up in the 29th minute on a pretty strike from the top of the box. The Tigers scored again several minutes later, and carried the 2-1 lead into the break.

The Billikens equalized again on a Devin Boyce PK in the 58th minute. However, Memphis got the go-ahead goal 10 minutes later and held on the victory.

Saint Louis is back in action on Saturday night when it hosts Rhode Island at Hermann Stadium. Game time is at 7:30 p.m., and the match will feature a halftime fireworks display as part of SLU's Homecoming and Family Weekend.
