GAME DETAILS
•Third-seeded Saint Louis exploded for three second-half goals and defeated fourth-seeded Massachusetts 4-1 Sunday afternoon in the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Soccer Championship final at Dayton's Baujan Field.
•The Billikens (12-8-1), who have won eight of their last nine games, became the first A-10 women's soccer team to capture four consecutive A-10 Championship titles.
•SLU advances to the NCAA Championship and will learn who its first-round opponent will be when the NCAA Selection Show airs at 3:30 p.m. Central on Monday.

Mattyn Summers was selected the tournament's Most Outstanding Player and was joined on the All-Tournament team by
Hannah Friedrich,
Brionna Halverson,
Lyndsey Heckel,
Caroline Kelly and
Emily Puricelli.
•The Billikens led 1-0 at halftime on a goal by Friedrich. After UMass scored the equalizer in the 54th minute, Heckel,
Emily Gaebe and
Abbie Miller found the back of the net in the span of 13:28 to put the game away.
•UMass finished with an 11-6-4 record.

•The A-10 Championship title is the Billikens' sixth overall. The 2005 and 2006 teams won the tournament crown in SLU's first two years in the A-10.
•SLU has won 11 consecutive conference tournament games and is now 17-5-1 in A-10 Championship play.
•Saint Louis is now 9-1-3 in the all-time series with UMass, including a current four-game winning streak.
•Including conference tournament games, Saint Louis is 45-3-1 vs. A-10 opponents since the beginning of 2018.
•The Billikens have scored a season-high four goals three times this season. Two of those four-goal outputs came in the tournament semifinals and championship game.

Hannah Friedrich's goal was her second this season and 28th of her career. Friedrich tied Trisha Underberg for third place on SLU's all-time list.
•Friedrich assisted on
Lyndsey Heckel's game-winning goal. It was her 34th career assist, tying Jenny Kehl for second on the Bills' all-time list; her 17th career game-winning helper, and fifth this season; and team-leading sixth assist overall this year.
•Heckel recorded the game-winning goal for a second time in the A-10 Championship; her golden goal lifted the Billikens past Rhode Island in the quarterfinals. She has five goals (three game-winners) on the season.

Emily Gaebe tallied her team-leading seventh goal of the season. Gaebe also leads the team with 17 points.

Abbie Miller posted her fifth goal of the season, tying Heckel and
Caroline Kelly for second on the team. Miller is second on the team with 14 points.

Mattyn Summers assisted on the goals by Friedrich and Gaebe, the first two assists of her collegiate career.

Brionna Halverson notched her fourth assist of the season on Gaebe's goal, while
Anna Walsh registered her third helper on Miller's goal.
•The goals by Heckel (sophomore) and Gaebe (freshman) give SLU's underclassmen 21 of the team's 31 goals.
