Saint Louis scored on a penalty kick early in the first half and added two second-half insurance goals in a 3-0 season-opening victory over Kansas City Wednesday night at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.

Stefan Stojanovic gave the Billikens the only tally they would need in the 15th minute, drilling a PK past the Kansas City goalkeeper following a hand ball in the box. It was the sophomore's first career goal.

In the second half, two freshmen also registered their first Saint Louis goals.
Patrick Weah, assisted by redshirt-freshman
Sam Rowan, doubled the Billiken lead in the 53rd minute.
Mason Leeth tacked on an unassisted marker in the 88th minute.
