OLEAN, N.Y. – Saint Louis scored a goal in each half in a 2-0 Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer victory at St. Bonaventure on Wednesday.
It was the third straight shutout win for the Billikens, who improve to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in A-10 play. St. Bonaventure falls to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the league.
The Billikens had the same goal scorers they had in Saturday's A-10 victory – Christian Buendia and John Klein. Buendia opened the scoring in the 39th minute when he scored off a Chandler Vaughn assist. It was Buendia's second goal of the season and his first game winner.
Klein scored in the 55th minutes on an assist from Kipp Keller. It was the second goal of the season for Klein and his 13th career tally, which leads all active Billikens.Â
Patrick Schulte made three saves for his third straight shutout, his fifth of the season.
The Billikens take on Duquesne on Saturday, March 20, in a 6 p.m. (CT) first kick.Â
