Hannah Friedrich's unassisted goal in the 89th minute broke a 1-1 deadlock and sent No. 20 Saint Louis past Davidson 2-1 in the Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Championship final Saturday afternoon at Hermann Stadium.
•The top-seeded Billikens (15-1), who extended their winning streak to 10, earned the A-10's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship and will play in the national tournament for a third straight year. The bracket will be revealed Monday at noon (CDT) on NCAA.com.
•By winning the A-10 Championship, Saint Louis became the first women's soccer team in conference history to capture both regular-season and tournament titles in three consecutive seasons.
•Davidson (7-4-3), the No. 3 seed, took a 1-0 lead midway through the first half.
Abbie Miller netted the equalizer on a penalty kick in the 57th minute, setting the stage for Friedrich's dramatic game-winner.
•Friedrich was selected the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. She was joined on the All-Tournament team by Miller,
