•The top two teams in the Atlantic 10 Conference preseason poll and regular season are the last two standing in the A-10 Championship, as top-seeded and 10th-ranked Saint Louis hosts No. 2 seed Dayton in the tournament final Sunday, Nov. 6. Kickoff at Robert R. Hermann Stadium is scheduled for noon.

•The Billikens ride a school-record 17-game winning streak – also the longest active winning streak in NCAA Division I women's soccer – into Sunday's game as they continue their quest for an unprecedented fifth straight A-10 Championship crown. SLU has shut out its last four and eight of its last nine opponents.
•The Flyers defeated Massachusetts 2-0 in the quarterfinals and Davidson 1-0 in the semifinals to reach the title game. Dayton has won four straight following consecutive 2-1 losses to VCU and Saint Louis.
•Saint Louis leads the series 12-10-3 (6-3-1 in St. Louis) and owns 10 consecutive wins over Dayton. The teams have met seven previous times in A-10 Championship play, with SLU leading 4-3. Sunday's meeting is the first between the Billikens and Flyers in the A-10 Championship final.
•The Billikens are a unanimous top-10 team as they continue 2022 postseason play. SLU's No. 10 ranking by United Soccer Coaches matches its highest-ever ranking in the coaches' poll. The Bills are rated No. 5 by College Soccer News – the highest ranking in any poll in program history – and No. 10 by Top Drawer Soccer.
•SLU is No. 8 in this week's NCAA Division I Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), up one spot from last week.
•In the SLU-Dayton regular-season meeting Oct. 16 in Dayton,
Sophia Stram's goal (
Anna Walsh assist) in the 70th minute put Saint Louis in front, and the Billikens posted a 2-1 victory.
•Dayton scored in the fifth minute, but
Jess Preusser (
Hannah Sawyer, Walsh assists) tallied an equalizer in the 42nd minute.
•The Billikens earned advantages of 15-6 in total shots, 7-3 in shots on goal and 5-2 in corner kicks.
•SLU's 19 wins, .950 winning percentage and 17-game active winning streak lead NCAA Division I. The Billikens also lead the nation with 3.05 goals per game.
•With their 2-0 victory over Saint Joseph's in Wednesday's semifinals, the Billikens set school marks for wins (19), longest unbeaten streak (17) and shutouts (14).
•With 10 home victories, the Billikens are one shy of the school record of 11 held by the 2006 and 2019 teams.
•SLU, competing in its 13th A-10 Championship, owns a 19-5-1 record in A-10 postseason play. The Billikens are 13-0 over the past five A-10 Championships.
•The Billikens are 61-6-6 (.877) in their last 73 games at Hermann Stadium, a stretch that dates to the final home game of the 2015 campaign. In those 73 games, SLU outscored opponents 160-29, posted 46 shutouts, and allowed more than one goal just twice.
