JACKSON, Miss. – Saint Louis men's tennis opened the spring season with two victories Saturday, defeating Alcorn State 6-1 and 4-0.
 
Andres Castellanos and Luca Lo Nardo led the Billikens, each winning their only completed singles match and pairing to go 2-0 at No. 1 doubles.
 
"Andres and Luca played very well at first doubles, winning both matches to help us secure the doubles point," head coach Justin Stuckey said. "We showed great poise in our singles matches, which helped us secure the win."
 
The Billikens host Austin Peay Friday, Feb. 3, at St. Clair Tennis Club in O'Fallon, Ill. Match time is 1:30 p.m.
