Galen Flynn, Mason Hart and Diego Konincks were honored with weekly awards after helping Saint Louis to a pair of shutout victories for the period of Oct. 2-8.

Flynn was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week. Hart was tabbed the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week. Konincks picked up A-10 Defensive Player of the Week honors.

The Billikens are 6-3-2 overall and in first-place in the A-10 with a 4-0-1 conference mark. SLU defeated George Washington 2-0 and La Salle 1-0 last week to extend its unbeaten streak to seven.

In the George Washington game, Flynn assisted on Seth Anderson's game-winning goal. Flynn also played a full 90 minutes in both shutout victories during the week.

Hart made five saves against GW for his second shutout of the season. He has a 0.80 goals against average on the year.

Konincks also helped anchor the Billiken defense last week, playing 90 minutes in both matches. He also scored the game-winning goal late in the La Salle match to propel the Bills to the win.

SLU is ranked No. 21 in this week's Top Drawer Soccer national poll and are just outside College Soccer News' Top 30 poll. The United Soccer Coaches poll comes out later on Tuesday.
