Saint Louis freshman Tanner Anderson was named the Atlantic 10 Conference's co-Rookie of the Week for the period of Sept. 25-Oct. 1, the league office announced today.

Anderson helped the Billikens to a draw against No. 9 Missouri State and a win against Rhode Island. The Billikens (4-3-2, 2-0-1 A-10) are unbeaten in their last five matches.

In the game against Rhode Island, Anderson sealed the win with a goal in the 87th minute. It was his first-career goal. Anderson has played in all nine games for the Bills this season.

The Billikens travel to Washington, D.C., to face George Washington (2-6-2, 0-3 A-10) on Wednesday. Game time is 2 p.m. (CT).
