BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Saint Louis' indoor track and field squad were in action on Friday at the Indiana Early Bird in Bloomington, Indiana, on the campus of Indiana University.
 
Numerous Billikens registered PRs and several finished first in their respective events.
 
Emily Nichols won the 400 meters, finishing in a time of 57.14. Sonja Morin led a group of Billiken runners in the 800 meters, crossing the finish first overall in 2:21.40. Sophia Pelligreen was the winner in the 3,000 meters, finishing in 10:08.67.
 
On the men's side, Aidan Martin won the 800 meters with a time of 1:58.28. Harrison Martinenko brought home the individual title in the 3,000 meters, crossing the line in 8:25.91.
 
After the semester break, the Billikens return to action Jan. 19-20, 2024, at the Vanderbilt Invitational.
