DAYTON, Ohio – Saint Louis men's tennis was victorious in its final regular-season match of 2023, downing Atlantic 10 Conference opponent Duquesne 4-1 Thursday.

The Billikens improved to 15-5, tying the 1978 SLU team for the third-highest victory total in program history.

Saint Louis grabbed a 1-0 lead by winning the doubles point. Ryota Fukushima and Theo Ortis defeated Liam Wickwire and Bode Vance 6-3 at No. 2, while Adam Behun and Eliott Ekindi were 6-1 winners over Valentin Vasquez and Keita Duclos at No. 3

In singles, Ortis ousted Tamirlan Teberikov 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2; Behun prevailed 6-2, 6-7, 6-4 over Vasquez at No. 3; and Luca Lo Nardo claimed a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Duclos at No. 4.
