ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis swept a dual meet at Missouri-St. Louis Saturday afternoon, winning 113-93 in women's competition and 108-97 in the men's meet.
Billiken swimmers captured 10 victories, five apiece for the women and men.
Claiming first place for the women were
Morgan Walker in the 400 IM (4:48.02),
Emily Leonard in the 1000 free (10:49.46),
Carly McKeon in the 200 free (1:57.72),
Meghan Eng in the 100 back (58.49) and
MaryBeth Clark in the 100 fly (59.59).
The Billiken men won three individual events and both relays.
Franklin Liu touched first in the 1000 free (9:57.68),
Brae Sanchez topped the field in the 100 breast (56.61), and
Logan Townsend recorded a victory in the 100 free (47.35).
Ethan Highley and
Colton Mosley were members of the Bills' winning 200 medley (1:34.69) and 200 free (1:25.04) teams. Sanchez and
Jack Redden joined that duo in the medley, while Townsend and
Wyatt Johnson completed the free relay quartet.
Saint Louis concludes the regular season Saturday, Jan. 27, vs. Maryville at Simon Recreation Center. The Billiken seniors will be honored before the meet, which begins at 1:30 p.m.
