•As the No. 1 seed, SLU will host all three rounds of the A-10 Championship if the Billikens continue to advance. A semifinal game would be played Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m., and the final would be Sunday, Nov. 10, at noon.
•A 0-0 draw at Dayton in the regular-season finale last Sunday snapped SLU's winning streak at five games but extended the Billikens' unbeaten streak to 13 games (9-0-4). Saint Louis hasn't lost since falling 2-1 to Penn State Sept. 1.
•Needing a win over Rhode Island on Sunday to earn the eighth and final tournament berth, Davidson came through with a 2-0 victory. That improved the Wildcats to 4-2-1 in their last seven games after starting 0-3 in conference play.
•SLU leads Davidson 5-0 overall, 4-0 as A-10 members (the first meeting was in 2002), and 2-0 at home. The teams are meeting for the first time since April 17, 2021 (2020 season), when the Billikens overcame a 1-0 deficit to top the Wildcats 2-1 in the A-10 Championship final at Hermann Stadium. Hannah Friedrich scored the game-winning goal with just 1:25 remaining.
•Saint Louis owns a 23-5-1 record in A-10 Championship play, including 17-0 in its run of six straight titles from 2018 to 2023. The Billikens have blanked all six of their opponents (19-0 aggregate score) over the past two conference tournaments.
•Through games of Oct. 31, Saint Louis is 34th in the NCAA Division I Ratings Percentage Index. A-10 teams Dayton (45), Massachusetts (50), Loyola Chicago (71) and Fordham (86) also are in the top 100. Among SLU's non-conference opponents, Penn State is No. 8, Xavier is No. 30, BYU is No. 33 and Creighton is No. 69.
