GREENSBORO, N.C. –
Brae Sanchez qualified for the "B" final in the 100 breaststroke to highlight Saint Louis' participation in the Toyota U.S. Open Championships Dec. 4-7.
After clocking a time of 54.34 and finishing 13th among 51 swimmers in the prelims, Sanchez swam 54.54 and placed seventh in the "B" final.
Sanchez also competed in the 200 breast and recorded a time of 2:04.26.
Jeddrick Gamilla,
Colton Mosley and
Drayton Beber also participated in the meet. Gamilla swam 2:03.55 in the 200 breast prelims, Mosley turned in a 20.73 in the 50 free prelims, and Beber posted a 57.12 in the 100 breast prelims.
The Billiken quartet also swam three relay events – the 200 medley (1:30.91), 400 medley (3:21.73) and 200 free (1:24.41).
