O'FALLON, Ill. – Saint Louis men's tennis won the doubles point and five singles matches, all in straight sets, in a 6-1 win over Lindenwood Tuesday afternoon at St. Clair Tennis Club.
The victory, the Billikens' fifth in a row, lifted SLU to 5-1 on the season.
In doubles,
Adam Behun and
Theo Ortis defeated Bernardo Henriques and Nathan Matsuguma 6-2 at No. 2, while
Luca Lo Nardo and
Valentin Vasquez slipped past Alonso De Prada and Fernando Martin Paz 6-4 at No. 3.
Saint Louis singles winners were
Declan Townsend, 6-3, 6-3 over Henriques at No. 2; Lo Nardo, 6-1, 6-2 over Matsuguma at No. 3;
Andres Castellanos, 7-5, 6-3 over De Prada at No. 4; Ortis, 6-4, 6-0 over Martin Paz at No. 5; and Vasquez, 6-1, 6-2 over Mattis Lamm at No. 6.
