ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis' outdoor track and field squads had a busy weekend, as the Billikens were spread across five different meets this past weekend.
Here are the meets in which the Billikens competed:
At the Texas Relays,
Emily Nichols broke the school record in the 100 meters, crossing the finish in 12.01. She now holds five school records across the indoor and outdoor events.
Other highlights for the Billikens included Journey Admundson making her debut for Saint Louis. At Texas State's Bobcat Invitational, she turned in an outdoor PR in the long jump of 19-6.75, which ranks second on the Bills' performance list all-time. She also had a PR in the triple jump of 40-3.25.
At Wash U,
Firaol Ahmed ran a 10K PR of 29:40.05.
Saint Louis is back in action on Friday, April 5, when it hosts the Billiken Invitational at SLU's Medical Center Recreational Complex.
