URBANA, Ill. – Saint Louis men's tennis fell 7-0 to 27th-ranked Illinois Saturday at Atkins Tennis Center in the Billikens' final road match of the season.
 
Theo Ortis battled at No. 4 singles before succumbing to Tyler Bowers 7-6 (10-8), 6-4. Declan Townsend was solid in a 6-3, 6-3 loss to 108th-ranked Kenta Miyoshi at No. 3.
 
Andres Castellanos and Luca Lo Nardo were in a closely contested No. 2 doubles match when the contest was abandoned, trailing Hunter Heck and Jeremy Zhang 4-3.
 
Saint Louis concludes the regular season Wednesday, April 17, hosting Lindenwood at Shaw Park Tennis Club in Clayton, Mo. Match time is 11:30 a.m. Billiken seniors Adam Behun, Ryota Fukushima, Theo Ortis and Jonathan Sadowski will be honored prior to first serve.
