Billiken Men's Tennis Garners First-Ever Regional Ranking

ST. LOUIS – The Saint Louis University men's tennis team concluded the 2023-24 season with the No. 7 ranking in the Central Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The Billikens' regional ranking is the first in program history.

Saint Louis made its first-ever postseason appearance in 2024, earning a spot in the UTR Sports NIT Championship, and reached the Atlantic 10 Championship semifinals. The Billikens set a program record for winning percentage (15-5, .750) and collected 15 wins for a second consecutive season, achieving back-to-back 15-win campaigns for just the second time in program history.

"The men had consistent play all year long," head coach Justin Stuckey said. "It's hard to get a regional ranking as a program, let alone be one of the top teams. This speaks to how great of a year the team had."

Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Tennessee comprise the ITA Central Region. Oklahoma claimed the region's No. 1 ranking, followed by Memphis, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Nebraska, Tulsa, Saint Louis, Creighton, Drake and Omaha.
