•SLU comes in ranked in a 19th-place tie by United Soccer Coaches and 15th by Top Drawer Soccer. Penn State is 12th and seventh, respectively, in those polls.
•Today's game also is a rematch of last season's thrilling NCAA Championship round-of-16 contest in University Park, Pa., which Penn State won 4-3 in overtime in the teams' first-ever meeting.
•In that game, goals by Kaitlyn MacBean in the 22nd and 23rd minutes gave Penn State a 2-0 lead. It was 2-1 Nittany Lions at halftime as Hannah Larson scored in the 31st minute for Saint Louis.
