O'FALLON, Ill. – Emmerson White won in singles and doubles in Saint Louis' 6-1 loss to Arkansas State Friday afternoon at St. Clair Tennis Club.
 
White defeated Sarah Millard 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles. She teamed with Fiorella Duran for a 6-1 victory over Anna Grigoreva and Carla Muro Castellvi at No. 1 doubles.
 
SLU nearly captured the doubles point. Nicolly Ferreira and Madison Hill at No. 2 and Lizzie Barlow and Angelina Joao at No. 3 both were edged by a 7-5 score.
 
The Billikens play at Missouri Saturday, Feb. 1.
