WASHINGTON – Saint Louis University senior Brae Sanchez is the Atlantic 10 Conference men's swimming and diving Performer of the Week for Oct. 6-12, the league office announced Tuesday.
 
At the Little Rock Fall Invite Oct. 10-11, Sanchez led the Billikens to a team victory with wins in the 50 breast (24.90; 24.86 in the prelims), 100 breast (55.04) and 200 breast (2:06.32). He also swam the leadoff leg on SLU's winning 400 medley relay team (3:30.62).
 
Sanchez's performances in the 50 breast and 100 breast are the A-10's top times this season, and his 50 breast clocking ranks 19th in NCAA Division I. His 200 breast time ranks fifth in the conference.
