•A-10 preseason favorite SLU seeks a return to the win column following Thursday's 2-0 loss to Dayton. Rhode Island, picked to finish sixth in the league, has won two straight and is 4-0-1 in its last five outings including Thursday's 5-0 victory over George Washington.
•Saint Louis leads the series, which dates to 2005, 15-3 and has won the last three meetings. The teams did not play last year; most recently, the Billikens prevailed 5-0 at URI in 2023, improving to 4-3 vs. the Rams in Kingston.
•Rhode Island's 11 wins are the most for the Rams since the 2014 team posted a 12-5-2 record.
•Through games of Oct. 16, Saint Louis is No. 44 and Rhode Island is No. 80 in the NCAA Division I Ratings Percentage Index (RPI).
•Saint Louis leads the A-10 in corner kicks per game (7.87, third nationally), winning percentage (.767, 20th) and assists per game (1.93, 51st).
•The Billikens are second in the league in goals per game (1.93, 64th).
•SLU is third in shots on goal per game (8.13, 14th), shots per game (17.20, 23rd), shutout percentage (.533, eight shutouts in 15 games, 34th) and goal differential (+16, 46th).
•Thirteen different Billikens have scored at least one goal, and 14 different Billikens have recorded at least one point.
•Twenty-three of SLU's 29 goals this season have been assisted. There has been a different player combination on 21 of those 23 goals.

Emma Parker is fifth in the A-10 and 38th nationally with six shutouts.
•Rhode Island has outscored its opponents 25-7 overall and 13-1 in A-10 play. The only goal the Rams have conceded to a conference team occurred in their only league loss, 1-0 to La Salle.
•URI leads the A-10 in shutout percentage (.733, 11 shutouts in 15 games, second nationally), goals against average (0.47, fourth), save percentage (.879, seventh) and goal differential (+18, 31st).
•The Rams are 33rd in the nation in shots on goal per game (7.53) and corner kicks per game (6.33) and 41st in shots per game (16.27).
•Junior Dani Eden has played 94 percent of the minutes in goal and ranks second in the nation in shutouts (10), fifth in goals against average (0.42) and sixth in save percentage (.891).
•Senior forward McKenna Sylvester (7G, 3A) and junior forward Lauren MacDonald (6G, 5A) are tied for the team lead with 17 points apiece. MacDonald is seventh in the nation with 2.20 shots on goal per game.
•Graduate forward/midfielder Mie Carstensen has 14 points (4G, 6A).
