•Saint Louis (12-3-1, 7-1) and Fordham (9-5-2, 4-3-1) square off Thursday, Oct. 23, in a game that has postseason implications for both teams. Kickoff at Moglia Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y., is set for 6 p.m. Central.
•Live streaming and live stats are available. See the links above.
•Preseason favorite SLU, which enters the contest in second place in the Atlantic 10 Conference, would assure itself of no lower than a No. 2 seed for the A-10 Championship (and a home semifinal game) by winning or tying. The Billikens already have locked up a home game for the quarterfinal round.
•Fordham, picked to finish third in the league, is tied with La Salle for sixth place as the Rams fight for a spot in the eight-team conference tournament.
•Both teams are coming off a victory on Sunday. The Billikens defeated Rhode Island 4-1 in Kingston, while the Rams claimed a 1-0 home win over George Mason.
•Saint Louis leads the series 6-4 and has won the last two and three of the last four meetings. However, the teams haven't faced each other since 2019, when the Billikens won for the first time in five trips to the Bronx.
•Through games of Oct. 19, Saint Louis is No. 34 in the NCAA Division I Ratings Percentage Index (RPI).
•Saint Louis leads the A-10 in corner kicks per game (7.75, fourth nationally), winning percentage (.781, 15th) and assists per game (1.94, 45th).
•The Billikens are second in the league in goal differential (+19, 33rd) and goals per game (2.06, 50th).
•SLU is third in shots on goal per game (8.00, 15th), shots per game (16.81, 25th) and shutout percentage (.500, eight shutouts in 16 games, 41st).
•Thirteen different Billikens have scored at least one goal, and 14 different Billikens have recorded at least one point.
•Twenty-five of SLU's 33 goals this season have been assisted. There has been a different player combination on 23 of those 25 goals.
•Julia Simon leads Saint Louis with six goals. Hope Kim, Adee Broesder and Audrey Smith are tied for second with four apiece.
•Simon and Izzy Luebbert top the points chart with 12 apiece, followed closely by Kim and Broesder with 11 each.
•Luebbert and Caroline Chier lead the team with six assists apiece, tying for the A-10 lead. Eva Schreiber has five helpers.
•Emma Parker is fifth in the A-10 and 46th nationally with six shutouts.
•Led by 2024 A-10 Coach of the Year Magnus Nilerud, Fordham features two returning All-Conference honorees. Sophomore forward Liina Tervo was a first-team selection and the league's Rookie of the Year, while sophomore forward Julia Acosta made the All-Conference second team.
•The Rams are ninth in the nation in shots on goal per game (8.44) and 13th in total shots per game (17.69).
•Tervo ranks 26th nationally in goals (10) and 29th in points (24).
•Senior Kyla King has a 1.31 goals against average and a .764 save percentage as Fordham's primary goalkeeper.
