STILLWATER, Okla. – Saint Louis' men's and women's cross country teams completed its seasons Friday at the NCAA Midwest Regional, which was held in Stillwater, Okla., and hosted by Oklahoma State University.
The women's team placed 21st overall, two spots better than last year's finish. The men's squad turned in a 25th-place performance.
Emery Mayfield paced the women's team, finishing the 6K 74th overall in a time of 22:00.4. Clara Gillen was next for the Bills, while Starr Scott, Sophia Pelligreen and Emily Morden rounded out the Billikens' scoring.
Aleksandr Acuna was the top Billiken finisher in the men's 8K, finishing 119th in a time of 33:20.6. Also scoring for SLU was Manny Vela, Lukasz Iwanowski, Tyler Schweizer and Ronnie Brown.
