Six Named Academic All-District; Luebbert Placed on Academic All-America Ballot

ST. LOUIS – Six Saint Louis University women's soccer student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators 2025 Academic All-District team.
 
Representing the Billikens are graduate student Hannah Larson, senior Izzy Luebbert, redshirt junior Camille Welker, junior Jordan Gary, redshirt sophomore Lucie Schwartz and sophomore Audrey Smith. Larson (fourth time) and Luebbert (third time) are repeat Academic All-District selections.
 
Luebbert was selected by a CSC committee to advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-District and Academic All-America honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore who carries a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average. She must have played in at least 90 percent or started at least 66 percent of contests as of the date of nomination.
 
Larson is pursuing a post-baccalaureate certificate in organizational leadership after earning a bachelor's degree in leadership and human resource management. An Atlantic 10 second-team All-Conference performer and A-10 Championship All-Tournament selection, she tied for fifth in the A-10 with six assists and added two goals.
 
A data science major, Luebbert made the 2025 All-Conference first team and A-10 All-Academic team. She tied for second in the A-10 with seven assists and produced career highs of 15 points (second on the team) and four goals (tied for fourth).
 
Welker, an exercise science major, started all 20 Saint Louis games at center back. She played a key role in the Billikens' 0.90 goals against average and 11 shutouts, five of which came against A-10 opponents.
 
Gary is a psychology major. She played in all 20 Billiken games and started five at outside back, logging a career-high 873 minutes.
 
Schwartz is majoring in biomedical engineering. She was a 15-game starter in the midfield and contributed three goals and an assist.
 
Still deciding on a major, Smith played in 19 games and started 11 for the 2025 Billikens. She tied for second on the team with five goals and added an assist.
