Day 3 Results
HAMPTON, Va. – A pair of fifth-place finishes and two school records highlighted day three for Saint Louis at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Conference Championships at Hampton Virginia Aquaplex.
After clocking a school-record 53.77 in the prelims,
Brae Sanchez placed fifth in the men's 100 breast with a time of 53.88.
Logan Townsend finished fifth in the 200 free, covering the distance in 1:38.96.
In the women's 100 breast,
Kenna Cashman set a school mark of 1:03.68 in the prelims and went on to place 14th in 1:03.82.
The Billikens had three point-scorers in two different events.
Noah Benton was 10th (3:59.10),
Phillip Endom was 12th (4:00.05) and
Franklin Liu was 13th (4:03.08) in the men's 400 IM. Joining Sanchez in the 100 breast were
Tino Ferranti (13th, 55.61) and
Jeddrick Gamilla (16th, 56.10).
Zach Byars placed 16th in the men's 100 back (49.55).
Saint Louis finished seventh in the men's 400 medley relay as Byars, Sanchez,
Grant Gerl and Townsend posted a time of 3:16.27. The SLU women's 400 medley relay squad of
Meghan Eng, Cashman,
Mia Yeo and
Karis Reynaga was 10th (3:49.92).
The A-10 Championships conclude Saturday.
