ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis women's tennis extended its winning streak to three with a 4-0 victory over Bradley Tuesday afternoon at Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
The Billikens won two hard-fought doubles contests to take a 1-0 lead.
Emmerson White and
Fiorella Duran edged Madi Rogers and Anna Belogliadova 7-6 (7-2) at No. 1, while
Angelina Joao and
Madison Hill got past Mariia Pukhina and Ruby Tseng 7-5 at No. 2.
Singles play also was hotly contested, but SLU secured three wins to claim the match. White defeated Belogliadova 6-2, 7-5 at No. 1, and Duran outlasted Pukhina 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 at No. 2.
Lizzie Barlow was up a game in the third set at No. 5 when Rogers was forced to retire, giving Barlow a 5-7, 6-4, 2-1 victory.
The Billikens host Kansas City at Dwight Davis Tennis Center Thursday, March 27, at 1 p.m.
