ST. LOUIS – Join the largest and most spirited ensemble on campus, the World's Greatest Pep Band.

The World's Greatest Pep Band plays an integral role at all men's and women's home basketball games at Chaifetz Arena; entertaining thousands of fans with their spirited, high-energy performances. In addition, the pep band travels to the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships as well as the NCAA Tournament.

The World's Greatest Pep Band provides music, equipment, uniforms, and many pep band specific instruments to all members of the group at no cost. Students can also receive a stipend for performing in the pep band if they attend the required number of games each season. Rehearsals take place once a week on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm in Chaifetz Arena during the first few months of the fall semester and up until the basketball season begins. 

Membership to the group is open to all Saint Louis University students regardless of major. If you're interested in joining, please email Dr. Grant Unnerstall (grant.unnerstall@slu.edu) with the following details: class year, primary and/or secondary instruments, and your former experience performing in high school band.
