DES MOINES, Iowa – Saint Louis competed in its final meets of the regular season this weekend at the Drake Relays (Drake University) and the Kip Janvrin Open (Simpson College).
"This was a great Drake relays for us," SLU head coach Jon Bell said. "We walked away with four new school records and numerous PRs. We also had a few PRs from the Kip Janvrin Invite. This was the type of weekend we needed heading into the A-10 Championships next weekend."
Among the highlights for the Bills were several school records. Both of SLU's Distance Medley Relay squads posted school records at the Drake Relays. The women's team of Starr Scott, Becky Phillips, Riley Franz and Emily Morden finished in a time of 11:44.34.
The men's DMR of Lukasz Iwanowski, Carson Amstutz, Jack McPhillips and Brock Waugh finished in a time of 9:49.32 for a new school record.
