ST. LOUIS – Four Saint Louis University tennis student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators 2025 Academic All-District team.
Representing the Billikens are
Andres Castellanos and
Luca Lo Nardo of the men's team, and
Lizzie Barlow and
Emmerson White of the women's team. Castellanos and Lo Nardo earned the award for a second consecutive year.
To be eligible for tennis Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, and be in the lineup for at least 70 percent of the team's total matches that include a team score.
Castellanos is a computer science major with a 3.895 GPA. He tied for the team lead with seven singles victories, including four in dual matches, and added three doubles wins.
Lo Nardo, a finance major with a 3.955 GPA, collected two victories this season.
Barlow is a speech, language and hearing sciences major with a 3.943 GPA. She tallied five singles wins and three doubles wins, all in dual competition.
White is a double major in international business and economics with a 4.000 GPA. She tied for the Billikens' best dual-match singles record (7-5) and was second on the team with five doubles victories.
