WASHINGTON – Saint Louis had four student-athletes land on Atlantic 10 Conference Outdoor Track and Field All-Rookie Team, the league announced today.
Brock Waugh earned All-Rookie honors in the men's 1,500 meters and men's 5,000 meters, while Sam Lamaze was the All-Rookie honoree in the men's 400 meters.
On the women's side, Emery Mayfield claimed All-Rookie accolades in the 10,000 meters, and Tania Amos captured All-Rookie honors in the discus.
The All-Rookie team is comprised of student-athletes who competed in their first season of outdoor track and field, and who registered the top mark in each category from the start of the season through the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship. The top marks in each indoor track and field category were based on results from the Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS).
Waugh's top time in the 1,500 meters of 3:47.60 came at the Kansas Relays. He had a top time in the 5,000 meters of 14:01.41 at the Washington University Distance Carnival.
Lamaze was the A-10 Champion in the 400 meters. He achieved a top time of 47.01 in the prelims of the A-10 Championships, which were held at George Mason University.
Mayfield completed the All-Rookie hat trick, having earned All-Rookie plaudits in cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field. Her top time in the 10,000 meters (36:08.10) came at the A-10 Championships.
Amos' top discus mark of 144-1 came at the Billiken Invitational.
