Swimming & Diving Teams Earn CSCAA Academic Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Saint Louis University achieved the 16th-highest grade point average (3.61) among NCAA Division I men's swimming and diving programs for the spring 2025 semester, earning Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

SLU placed among the top 25 men's teams for a fourth straight semester and trailed only Davidson among Atlantic 10 Conference teams.

The Saint Louis women collected Scholar All-America accolades as well, also posting a 3.61 GPA.

"It is very gratifying that the young men and women in our program continue to fulfill the No. 1 objective of our athletics department, which is to educate," head coach Mary Woods said. "They are proud to be not only members of our swimming and diving program, but also students at Saint Louis University. That is reflected in their consistently remarkable performance in the classroom.

"Our student-athletes recognize and appreciate the role that SLU's academic environment plays in their achievements," Woods said. "Balancing their obligations as members of our program with the University's academic rigors is not an easy task. They are grateful for the resources that help them meet their challenges, and they are especially thankful for the support and encouragement they receive from SLU's outstanding faculty and staff on a daily basis."

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. Its mission is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
