Billiken Schedule

Billiken Roster

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University's 2025 women's soccer schedule is an 18-game slate featuring contests against three 2024 NCAA Tournament qualifiers – two of whom concluded the season with top-12 Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) rankings – three intrastate rivals and five Atlantic 10 Conference home games.

Nine games are scheduled for the home pitch of Robert R. Hermann Stadium, including matches against Power 4 conference opponents Missouri and Indiana on Aug. 24 and Aug. 28, respectively. A-10 opponents Davidson, La Salle, Duquesne, Dayton and Loyola Chicago, as well as non-conference foe Missouri State, also come to Midtown.

Saint Louis returns five starters and 12 additional players from its 2024 team that made a seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. The Billikens (15-2-6, 7-0-3 A-10) captured a seventh straight A-10 Championship title, claimed a sixth A-10 regular-season crown in seven years, and landed 22nd in both the final RPI and the final United Soccer Coaches rankings. SLU narrowly missed making a second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament "Sweet 16," falling to USC 4-3 in overtime in the second round.

The Billikens' non-conference schedule features teams from six different leagues – Big Ten (Penn State, Indiana, Iowa), Southeastern (Missouri), Conference USA (Missouri State), Missouri Valley (Illinois State), Ohio Valley (SIUE) and Summit (Kansas City).

Following home exhibition games vs. Southeast Missouri State Aug. 6 and Evansville Aug. 9, Saint Louis opens the regular season at Kansas City Aug. 14.

A major test awaits the Billikens Aug. 21 at Penn State, which was No. 7 in the final 2024 RPI. The Nittany Lions reached the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals a year ago, losing 2-1 in overtime to eventual national champion North Carolina.

SLU and Penn State have met in each of the past two seasons. The Nittany Lions prevailed 4-3 in overtime at home in an epic NCAA Tournament round-of-16 battle in 2023 and edged the Billikens 2-1 in St. Louis last year.

Penn State is the first of four consecutive Power 4 opponents for Saint Louis. Missouri makes its first trip to Hermann Stadium Aug. 24, followed by Indiana Aug. 28. SLU concludes a busy opening month Aug. 31 at Iowa, which reached the 2024 NCAA Tournament round of 16 and claimed the No. 12 RPI ranking after finishing third in the Big Ten.

Missouri State visits Midtown Sept. 4. The Bears bid farewell to the Missouri Valley Conference in 2024 by winning the league's regular-season and tournament titles and advancing to the NCAA Tournament, where they fell 2-1 to Iowa. Missouri State earned the No. 86 spot in the final RPI.

The Billikens cross the Mississippi River to take on SIUE Sept. 7 and conclude their non-conference schedule by hosting Illinois State Sept. 14.

Saint Louis' 10-game conference schedule includes six of the other seven teams that qualified for the 2024 A-10 Championship – Dayton, Fordham, Saint Joseph's, Loyola Chicago, VCU and Davidson.

The Billikens begin the league slate Sept. 21 at home vs. Davidson. Other conference opponents visiting Hermann Stadium are La Salle (Oct. 2), Duquesne (Oct. 12), Dayton (Oct. 16) and Loyola Chicago (Oct. 26). Dayton claimed the No. 52 final RPI ranking in 2024.

Away from home, the Bills take on A-10 rivals VCU (Sept. 25), George Washington (Sept. 28), Saint Joseph's (Oct. 5), Rhode Island (Oct. 19) and Fordham (Oct. 23).

Quarterfinal matches of the eight-team A-10 Championship will be played either Friday, Oct. 31, or Saturday, Nov. 1. The semifinals and final are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 9, respectively. All tournament games will be played on the campuses of the higher-seeded teams in each round.
