KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Saint Louis women's soccer received votes in the United Soccer Coaches 2025 NCAA Division I preseason national poll.
 
This is the sixth time – including five of the past seven years – the Billikens have appeared in either the top 25 or the "Also Receiving Votes" section of a United Soccer Coaches preseason poll.
 
SLU finished the 2024 campaign with the No. 22 ranking.
 
Defending national champion North Carolina is a unanimous choice at No. 1, followed in the top 10 by Notre Dame, Florida State, Duke, USC, Arkansas, Stanford, UCLA, TCU and 2024 national runner-up Wake Forest.
 
The second 10 includes two Saint Louis opponents. The Billikens play at No. 11 Penn State Aug. 21 and at No. 13 Iowa Aug. 31.
 
Following home exhibition games vs. Southeast Missouri State Aug. 6 (6 p.m.) and Evansville Aug. 9 (4 p.m.), Saint Louis opens the regular season at Kansas City Aug. 14. The Bills' home opener is Aug. 24 vs. Missouri at 5 p.m.
