•Saint Louis continues its stretch of games vs. Power 4 conference opponents Thursday, Aug. 28, hosting Indiana. First whistle at Robert R. Hermann Stadium is slated for 7 p.m.

•Indiana is the second of SLU's three Big Ten Conference opponents this season, joining Penn State (Aug. 21) and Iowa (Aug. 31).
•Saint Louis received votes in this week's United Soccer Coaches national poll and is the first team outside the top 25. The Billikens are ranked No. 2 in the East Region by United Soccer Coaches.
•SLU is coming off a 1-0 victory over Missouri in its home opener Aug. 24. Indiana is playing its first road contest of the season after defeating Youngstown State 6-1 and Ball State 1-0 in Bloomington.
•SLU leads the series 2-1-1 overall and is 2-1 vs. IU in St. Louis. The last two meetings, both Billiken wins, have taken place at Hermann Stadium. The teams most recently met in 2023, a 2-0 Saint Louis victory in the NCAA Championship first round.
•Nine different Billikens have at least one point. Rylee Howard and Audrey Smith have a team-high two goals apiece, Izzy Luebbert leads with three assists, and Lucie Schwartz has a goal and an assist.
•Indiana is led by first-year head coach Josh Rife, who played his final two seasons of college soccer at IU. The Hoosiers are trying to rebound from last year's 6-9-2 record (1-9-1 Big Ten) that followed marks of 12-4-4 and 6-2-2 in 2023.
•Maggie Ledwith, Aleyna Quinn and Sarah Sirdah have scored two goals apiece.
•The Hoosiers have out-shot their opponents 45-11 overall and 20-5 in shots on goal and have a 16-5 advantage in corner kicks.
