•Two of the hottest teams in Atlantic 10 Conference women's soccer square off Thursday, Oct. 2, at Hermann Stadium as Saint Louis (8-2-1, 3-0) hosts La Salle (5-4-1, 2-1). First whistle is slated for 7 p.m.

•The Saint Louis Department of Athletics will celebrate "Soc-Tober-Fest" at Thursday night's game. Beginning at 6 p.m. and lasting until kickoff, fans 21 and older can enjoy free samples of Anheuser-Busch products at the northwest corner of Hermann Stadium, courtesy of Lohr Distributing. Presentation of valid ID is required.
•Saint Louis, which posted a come-from-behind 2-1 victory at George Washington on Sunday, is riding a three-game winning streak and is unbeaten (5-0-1) in its last six games. The preseason favorite Billikens are tied with Dayton atop the A-10 standings.
•La Salle has won two straight – including Sunday's 3-2 win over George Mason in which the Explorers erased a 2-0 deficit – and is 4-1-1 in its last six outings. The Explorers, who were picked to finish seventh in the league, are part of a seven-way logjam for third place in the A-10.
•SLU is undefeated (7-0-2) in its last nine games vs. La Salle, including a current seven-game winning streak that has increased the Billikens' lead to 9-2-3 in a series dating to 2005. The Explorers last defeated the Billikens in 2014, 2-1 in St. Louis.
•The Bills are 6-2-2 vs. the Explorers at Hermann Stadium.
•Saint Louis has outscored La Salle 23-4 over the last nine games, including a 4-1 win in Philadelphia a year ago.
Audrey Smith and
Caigan Leonard tallied a goal and an assist, respectively.
•Through games of Sept. 28, Saint Louis is No. 46 in the NCAA Division I women's soccer Ratings Percentage Index (RPI).
•Including regular-season and conference tournament competition, Saint Louis is unbeaten in 45 consecutive games vs. A-10 opponents.
•SLU is 83-9-12 (.856) in its last 104 games at Hermann Stadium.
•Saint Louis leads the A-10 in corner kicks per game (8.09, fifth nationally), winning percentage (.773, 23rd) and assists per game (1.82, 58th).
•The Billikens are third in the league in shots per game (17.27, 30th), shots on goal per game (7.55, 34th), goals per game (1.64) and goal differential (+8).
•SLU is fourth in the conference and 30th nationally in shutout percentage (.545, six shutouts in 11 games).

•Like Saint Louis, La Salle features a balanced attack as six players are tied for the team lead with two goals.
•Senior Mackenna Yaracs has played every minute in goal and has a 1.30 goals against average, a .717 save percentage and two shutouts.
