WASHINGTON – Saint Louis University junior Emmerson White is the Atlantic 10 Conference women's tennis Player of the Week for Feb. 9-15, the league office announced Tuesday.
 
White posted a 2-0 record at No. 1 singles, winning easily in straight sets in both matches. She defeated Western Illinois' Richardlyne Francois 6-1, 6-2 Feb. 14 and toppled Northern Illinois' Irmak Budak 6-2, 6-3 Feb. 15.
 
White also won at No. 1 doubles in the Western Illinois match, teaming with Madison Hill for a 6-2 victory over Jessica Hess and Mana Fawcett to help the Billikens register a 4-2 win.
 
SLU plays twice this weekend, taking on Chicago State and Drake on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, in Des Moines, Iowa.
