EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Saint Louis overcame the loss of the doubles point and defeated Southern Indiana 4-2 Friday afternoon at Evansville Tennis Center.
 
Emmerson White grabbed SLU's first point, downing Antonia Ferrarini 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Madison Hill outlasted Sofia Davidoff 6-3, 7-6 at No. 2, and Nicolly Ferreira gave the Billikens a 3-1 lead with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Rylie Wilkison at No. 3.
 
After Southern Indiana cut the lead in half with a win at No. 4, Elizabeth Choate clinched the match by breezing past Claire Meyer 6-2, 6-1 at No. 6.
 
Ferreira and Naima Luthra posted a 6-2 win over Wilkison and Meyer at No. 3 doubles.
 
The Billikens take on Austin Peay Saturday.
