WASHINGTON – Saint Louis University senior
Andres Castellanos was selected to the Atlantic 10 Conference men's tennis All-Conference second team and the A-10 All-Academic team, the league office announced Monday.
Castellanos, who earned his second career All-Conference nod, led SLU with a career-high 12 overall singles wins. He tied for the team lead with seven dual-match victories, playing at least two matches in each of the top three positions. Castellanos also posted team highs of 10 overall doubles victories (career high) and nine dual doubles wins, going 9-4 in the No. 3 spot.
A computer science major with a 3.82 grade point average, Castellanos is a three-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection and has made the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll each year of his career.
